Welcome to the world of the worst speeders in Canada! For 10 years, the reality show Canada's Worst Driver has produced 80 hilarious episodes, which explains the popularity of this program launched by Discovery Channel. The series started off small, but the worst speeders in Quebec now appear on wave Z TV. It’s the portrait of a social phenomenon that blows away traditional reality shows.
Canada's Worst Driver is a derivative of Britain's Worst Driver, launched in 2002 in Britain and has only two seasons to his credit. While the English concept has not attracted great crowds, it remains that the success of the basic scenario has been cleverly created and the franchise is a real success for us.
Each season, eight drivers and people who have registered are sent to a rehabilitation centre where they participate in challenges to improve their driving skills in an effort to avoid being named Canada’s Worst Driver". Supported by a team of experts, drivers improve their driving from episode to episode. Still, the early episodes are often hilarious, as the skills of the drivers are nil, even ridiculous.
Immensely popular in its translated version, the worst speeders in Canada has been broadcast on Z Télé since fall 2014. Last August, the worst speeders show was launched in Quebec. Hosted by Richard Turcotte, the Quebec show is as funny as the English version. Participants perform stunts with their cars, outright destroying some vehicles and using rather rude and nervous language. Because of its humour, the series has been renewed for a second season. Tape the series and make it your own. All in all, entertainment that is worth watching.
