The Toyota Hybrid vehicle lineup at the Montreal Auto Show

Toyota took advantage of the Montreal Auto Show to showcase its entire hybrid vehicle lineup, once again demonstrating that the banner dominates this automotive segment.  


Highlander Hybrid XLE  

The Highlander Hybrid XLE offers 8 seats. This intermediate SUV is available with a gasoline engine (V6 295 hp) or a hybrid system (306 hp). By opting for the hybrid version, the all-wheel drive is delivered as standard. The Highlander Hybrid XLE offers an overall range of 783 kilometers. 

In addition to its spacious interior, this mid-size hybrid SUV offers integrated vehicle dynamics management, hill Start Assist Control and Toyota Safety Sense ™ P.


RAV4 Hybrid 

As for hybrid SUVs, Montreal Auto Show visitors were also able to discover the 2019 RAV4 Hybrid, which offers a range of 767 kilometers. 

In addition to being equipped with the standard Toyota Safety Sense 2.0, it offers a variety of interesting technological components.  


Prius C 2019 

The 2019 Toyota Prius C on display at the Montreal Auto Show caught everyone’s eye. The cheapest compact hybrid car in the country (MSRP $ 22,350) stands out for its reliability and pleasant driving. 

It features Toyota Safety Sens ™ C + as standard and offers 705 km of range.  


Prius Prime 2018

The Prius Prime is a plug-in hybrid vehicle that provides approximately 40 kilometers of electric range with full charge. It takes about two hours to fully recharge on a 240-volt terminal.

It is also equipped with Toyota Safety Sense P.


Camry Hybrid 2019

Montreal Auto Show visitors were also introduced to the 2019 Camry Hybrid. In its hybrid version, this sporty car offers a range of 999 km.

The Camry Hybrid comes with Toyota Safety Sense P.


Toyota Corolla Hybrid 2020 

For the first time in Canada, the 2020 Corolla Sedan Hybrid was unveiled at the Montreal Auto Show. 

The 2020 Corolla Sedan will be equipped with 8 standard airbags and Toyota Star Safety System. This system includes the Enhanced Vehicle Stability Control System, Traction Control, Electronic Brake Force Distribution, Brake Assist, Anti-lock Braking System and Smart Stop Technology. All Corolla 2020 models will be equipped with Toyota Safety Sense ™ 2.0 as standard.  


Toyota Mirai 

Toyota showcased its hydrogen-powered sedan at the Montreal Auto Show. This vehicle offers a range of 500 kilometers and refuel in 5 minutes. Its engine emits only water vapor. 

Aside from its remarkable powertrain, the Mirai includes all the elements that drivers expect to find in a Toyota: an elegant and well-equipped four-door sedan that is very enjoyable to drive. 

This vehicle is part of Toyota's vision for the future, which aims to provide drivers with a clean, sustainable vehicle that can replace conventional cars.
