Go camping go, gadget of the hour: James Baroud tents
For outdoor enthusiasts, camping is a must. Better yet, for adventurers, camping is necessary, because there is nothing else nearby.

For outdoor enthusiasts, camping is a must. Better yet, for adventurers, camping is necessary, because there is nothing else nearby. For photographers and souvenir collectors, travel is frequent, even every day on vacation. In order to improve the experience of frequent trips, the James Baroud company offers you a product specifically to match the aspirations of globe-trotters.

James Baroud tents

James Baroud isn’t the first manufacturer to design a roof tent. However, being dissatisfied with the installation and use of the other current tents on the market, Tony Partenio, co-founder of James Baroud Tents has innovated to offer a product that’s more resistant to rugged terrain or forests. In particular, allow for greater performance under extreme weather or extreme temperatures while providing an elegant and sensible design.

Two types of James Baroud tent models

On the James Baroud site, there are two models offered, the first with a hard shell and the second with a soft shell (they make you think of tacos). Once installed, the hard-shell model takes less than 30 seconds to mount and less than 90 seconds to disassemble. The rigid models have a support beam and are equipped with a solar-powered fan.

The waterproofing has been tested for winds of about 120 km/h, which is huge. Some models will even offer a panoramic 360-degree view. The most spacious one is called Escape XXL. The tent is accessible on the car roof with a telescopic ladder.

How can one do to better impress the public?

Soft shell models, while they perform just as well, are designed for small cars. Both models are made of aluminized fabric for a seamless seal.

Finally, they’re enough to make your adventurous side search for great Canadian outdoors...
