- Marie-Andrée BoisvertToyota is one of Apple CarPlay’s partners, with all indications that this newest gadget from Apple will be offered in certain new vehicles. CarPlay represents a new way for drivers to use their iPhone. CarPlay can group together all the iPhone apps you want to use while driving. Use apps for geolocalization and music, or take a car without taking your eyes off the road.
This now-famous gadget, launched with great fanfare in 2014, is already installed in your current vehicle is equipped with an Alpine or Pioneer system, thanks to a replacement system.
With its Siri voice command, CarPlay was designed for driving. It’s also compatible with touchscreen, casters and other control buttons.
In addition, CarPlay is able to guess your favourite destinations using your emails, text messages, contact list and calendars. And siri can send, read and respond to text messages on your behalf.
It’s worth changing cars just to experience the new CarPlay technology!
