Summer is almost upon us, although to many, it’s already arrived. It’s time to prepare our summer trips. To do this, I suggest a driving and cycling duo to spice up your weekends or vacation days.

This summer, try the experience of sightseeing by car, but bring your bike along to discover the most beautiful trails. Without further ado, here is a list of destinations to practice your driving-cycling duo.

Labelle and Mont-Laurier

The P’tit Train du Nord bike trail, sector 3, between Labelle and Mont-Laurier, is a paved 88 km trail for cycling and rollerblading. It features numerous lakes and rivers along the length of the trail with many services nearby.

Lac St-Jean

Do you know the Véloroute des Bleuets? This beautiful bike path is found in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean  region by going around the lake area. The track is combined with a set of bike paths, paved shoulders and shared paved road over a distance of 272 km. There are several cities to visit, so we’ll take a few days for our trip.

In the National-Capital region, enjoy the coastal corridor, the bike path that runs along the St. Lawrence River from one end of Quebec City to the other. The route starts near the Pont de Quebec bridge up to Montmorency Falls.
